BIG KEYS PLUS Keyboards

A serious solution! No larger than a normal keyboard overall, but with lettering that's 10 times bigger.

BigKeys Plus works straight out of the box - no software is needed! Just plug it into the keyboard socket of your computer. There is a recessed switch on each of these keyboards which will change the layout between ABC and QWERTY - so you can choose any combination to suit your circumstances.

You can purchase the BigKeys Plus with lower case or upper case keys and ready-to-go as a QWERTY or ABC keyboard. See all versions.

Wondering which combination is best?

We've been using these keyboards for several years. To ensure that you get the most from your investment for a 2-6 year old, our recommendation is to purchase a lower case ABC colour keyboard so you are 'ready to go'

plus an extra set of upper case black on white upper case keycaps (£15). This way the keyboard really will 'grow with your child'. The keycaps are very simple - and painless - to swop over. It takes just a few minutes with the special gadget (included).

For a child already forming sentences and using a PC at school (aged 6+), then go for the colourful QWERTY upper case with black on white upper case keycaps.

You can buy a plastic 'skinguard' for the Plus or LX (£18) to protect the keyboard against spills and sticky fingers - ensuring a relaxed computer experience for mum as well as tot! And a switched splitter will ensure you don't spend all your time plugging and unplugging equipment at the back of your PC.

You can continue to use both your own keyboard and the Big Keys keyboard without keep plugging and unplugging your equipment by using a special attachment called a co-pilot or splitter. It costs £25 plus postage + VAT. If you choose the switched version (£31.95) then mum has full control over the keyboard (when time's up, time's up!!)
