You may have read my earlier pleas for help regarding my daughter and her frustration at being unable to use a mouse.

Well, we purchased a KidsBall as recommended in this Forum and wow - what a difference!

Jenny immediately could use the trackball and within minutes was confidently using the program on her own, with minimal parental assistance.

I'd certainly recommend it to anyone else suffering the same problems!

My son also starting using a PC at an early age. We used an Easy Ball (now available as the KidsBall) in place of a mouse plus a Big Keys Alphabetical Keyboard.

Some say children should get used to a mouse and ordinary QWERTY keyboard straight away but we found that this equipment worked well for us - I think QWERTY is a bit of a challenge when children are also being required to learn their ABC; and my son was very small for his age so his hands were too tiny for a traditional mouse - even a small one.

Also, at that age, they just want to get on with what's on the screen and not fiddle around trying to get to grips with the equipment as well (just like us, I guess!)
